Thank you for posting this wonderful review. I am in the process of organizing a group from the South Bay and elsewhere to experience this as a group. I have a very personal history of this subject. My late husband, Robert Goldman, was born and raised in Shanghai, China 1940-1958. His small family that were able to leave Europe in 1939 went through Kobe before their ship came into a very different world in Shanghai. One of my first interviews finding the missing pieces of my husband’s life was Rabbi Marvin Tokayer, author of The Fugu Plan. That was in the year 2000. I have almost finished Robert’s puzzle thanks to many.
